Greg Sundel
Greg Sundel began taking drum lessons at age 7, was studying with Joe Morello by age 15, and at 17 performed with jazz great Joshua Redman. By the age of 21, he was touring with hip-hop group Cosmic Ghetto and performing/recording with pop icons Lauryn Hill and Billy Corgan. Greg has studied with Bernard Purdie, John Riley, Ian Froman, attended Berklee College of Music and William Paterson University. Recently Greg was one of Bernard Purdie's on-call substitutes for the musical "Hair." Currently his Jazz trios and duos are the house bands at Tula and Evelyn's lounge in New Brunswick, New Jersey - Thursday, Friday and
Saturday nights. His Trio has performed at the New York Museum of Natural History and regularly features Jazz luminaries Vic Juris and Mel Davis (currently with George Benson). Greg also has performed with Jefferson Starship's Slick Aguilar and played drums on theme songs for the Fox News Network.

His New album "Stone Groove" features Matt Chertkoff (currently with Cecil Brooks III) and Dan Kostelnik (currently performing with Bob Devos). Highly in demand as a music instructor, Greg teaches at Andy's Music in Livingston, New Jersey and at Kenny's Music Box in Succasunna, New Jersey. Greg endorses Dunnett hardware.
