Rashied Ali
   Rashied Ali is a progenitor and leading exponent of multidirectional rhythms/ polytonal percussion. A student of Philly Joe Jones and an admirer of Art Blakey, Ali developed the style known as "free jazz" drumming, which liberates the percussionist from the role of human metronome. The drummer interfaces both rhythmically and melodically with the music, utilizing meter and sound in a unique fashion. (Full Bio)
 
Raphael Cruz
   Raphael Cruz is a musician’s musician. As one of the first-call percussionists on the New York music scene, he has played with literally hundreds of the great stars of Latin, Jazz, Pop, Rock and R&B music. Originally from Santo Domingo, he has honed his skills with such greats as Herbie Hancock, McCoy Tyner, Chaka Kahn, Paquito D'Rivera, Tata Guines, Herbie Mann, Claudio Roditi and George Benson, among others. Joris Teepe
   Several great bassists in Jazz came from Europe (Dave Holland, George Mraz, NHOP, Miroslav Vitous), but Joris Teepe is the first European musician from The Netherlands to be able to make it in NewYork. Arriving in New York in 1992 with just his bass and a suitcase, he quickly met many musicians, started to work a lot and a year later he recorded his first CD, co-led by Don Braden and featuring Cyrus Chestnut, Carl Allen and Tom Harrell. Frank Noviello
   In Frank Noviello, we have a bonafide jazz vocalist adhering to a tradition of extemporaneous performance. Frank was born In Englewood, New Jersey. He began studying voice and drama at age five. During childhood, he appeared in several off-Broadway productions Including "Macbeth" and was an understudy in the Broadway play "Fanny" He appeared at Carnegie Hall at age seven as part of a "Star Time" revue production. Terry Silverlight
   Terry Silverlight has been involved with many facets of the music business and has contributed his musical talents as a 
leader, composer, producer, arranger, drummer, author and educator to projects in almost every style of music. Terry began his recording career at the age of 14 when he played drums on his Brother Barry Miles’s album, "White Heat", an innovative harbinger of the fusion movement. Chico Alvarez
   Ernesto "Chico" Alvarez Peraza has been performing as a singer and percussionist throughout the New York City tri-state area for the last four decades. He currently leads his own three trumpet conjunto MAFIMBA, as well as an ambitious 16 piece concert band, known as The PALOMONTE AFRO-CUBAN BIG BAND.
